In regards to John's dad Henry, he's a Men of Letters not a hunter (MoL actually look down on hunters as uncivilized and beneath them, so not likely he and Mary's dad Samuel would be friends).
There's a whole episode of supernatural (8x12) that explains what happened to Henry/why he left/never came back and it would make it impossible for him and Samuel to be missing together. Well unless The Winchesters is going to completely disregard even more established Supernatural canon then they already have.....🤨
